Regency of Banyumas is located on 108 39 17 109 27 15 East Longitude and 7 15 05 7 37 10 South Latitude. Regency of Banyumas is adjancent to Regency of Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, and Kebumen in the east, Mount Slamet, Regency of Tegal and Regency of Pemalang in the north, Regency of Cilacap in the south, and Regency of Cilacap and Regency of Brebes in the west. Regency of Banyumas that has wide area of 1,327.60 cubic kilometers is divided into 27 subdistricts, 301 villages and 30 political districts representative by lurah.
